I have just spent 10 wonderful days in Bhutan, the land of the peaceful dragon, where I was invited to give a keynote on “Education and the Politics of Being” for an international symposium on “reimagining education from a Gross National Happiness perspective”.
for decades I have spoken about going to Bhutan - most people simply answer with where? - it's a dear space of deep capacity, despite its yet to be fully realised in achieving its goals - arent we all. I am grateful life opened for you to take your great work there, and no doubt it is now under your skin and moving slowly into your being such that you will return. returning to spaces of belonging is a part of all our work. Huge congrats and I enjoyed the read.
